BRIEF: Design to improve efficiency of space, bringing teams together.

Through analysis of working practices and design of efficient workspaces, we reduced the overall amount of space occupied from 22,500 to 17,500 sq ft, enabling the firm to save money whilst dramatically improving the quality of facilities for its staff. Partners, relocated from cellular offices, now occupy ‘pods’ in open plan spaces, enabling them to be more accessible to their teams. Breakout spaces and a café are important in creating an atmosphere in which all staff can mix and the new reception area provides the right first impression for clients. The firm, previously fragmented, now works in a more collegiate way with critical departmental adjacencies facilitating communication and enhanced client service.
