BRIEF: JMC is one of the country’s most highly regarded legal recruitment agencies. Its founder had a clear vision of what was needed in the new space; something that was dramatic, distinctive and packed with punch. We created a space that would be not only be effective during the day but could flex into the evening for the team to socialise after hours, complete with its own glitterball which very much featured in the initial brief.

The space is compact and works hard by offering multi-functional spaces. A touchdown bar area serves as both a team meeting space and a lunchtime or evening social spot but can then be split apart and rearranged as an event space when required. The client was also keen to reuse whatever we could from its existing office, including signage, lighting and key furniture pieces to avoid unnecessary waste. The scheme was then tailored around these elements.
