BRIEF: Create a sustainable and energy-efficient workplace, in accordance with the organisation’s mission.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything this solar energy company does, and the design of the firm’s new workplace had to reflect this. A stripped back design solution, with a young, fresh edge was adopted alongside a policy of specifying eco-friendly products, finishes and materials with a clear audit trail. The office space is densely planned with numerous ad hoc meeting spaces and quiet working booths provided which reflects the business’ way of working. The kitchen/café area has a sliding, folding wall enabling the space to be opened up and used for larger team meetings and events.
